From the kitchen whiteboard to your phone
Keep writing on the board. When it's time to shop, take a photo and Kaki turns the handwriting into your grocery list.
- In Groceries, tap Scan whiteboard and take a photo.
- Check what Kaki read, fix anything and choose sections.
- Tap Add. Items already on the list are skipped.
Photos are read and then discarded. Only the items you confirm are saved. Every family gets a few free scans each month, with more on future plans.

Families with a support network
Keep helpers, grandparents and caregivers as profiles, and only create a login when the family chooses. Owners select the modules and can revoke access at any time.
How Kaki Family uses Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. Kaki Family works without it.
If you connect it, Kaki Family uses Google Calendar access only to:
- show the calendars available to the connected account so you can select one;
- display events from the calendar you selected alongside Kaki events; and
- create, update or delete events on that calendar when you ask Kaki to do so.
Choose Full Details, Subject Only, Busy Only or Hidden.
Choose Nothing, Busy Only or Subject Only. They never receive more detail than the family setting.
Google access tokens stay server-side and are not shown to other household accounts. Private or Confidential Google events are masked, and events marked #adults are hidden from managed Support Network accounts. Kaki does not sell data, use it for advertising, or use Google data to train AI models. Read the full details in the Privacy Policy.
